Holisticare Hospice is currently hiring a Full-Time Compassionate On-Call Registered Nurse (RN) to provide patient care in Matawan and the surrounding areas!    We are seeking a skilled individual to serve as the primary point of contact for incoming calls during off-hours, from 4:30 PM Friday to 8:00 AM Monday. The successful candidate will possess the ability to assess and prioritize calls, directing them to the appropriate OC RN as needed. In the event of high call volume or requests for assistance in the Northern territory, the ability to step in and provide support is essential.   The On-Call RN is responsible for identifying and coordinating patient/family needs and for providing preventative and supportive care to the hospice patient and family. The On-Call RN utilizes assessment, intervention, and teaching skills to maximize patient comfort and to enhance the quality of life. The On-Call RN assumes on-call coverage for the designated teams and functions as an Interdisciplinary (IDT) team member to provide hospice care, support , and interventions after hours.   Holisticare Hospice is a premier provider of end-of-life care.
